The ICT Development Index is based on 11 criteria in three main categories: ICT access, ICT use and ICT skills. Iceland has 8.86 points now, compared to 8.19 in 2010 and is only 0.02 points behind Denmark in 2nd place. Korea tops the ranking as in 2010 and UK follows Iceland.
Iceland ranks #2 in IDI access and climbs one seat to number 8 in IDI use with a score of 8.11. Iceland also improves the score in IDI skills and ranks #10 with a score of 9.42. Of the Nordic Countries, only Finland ranks higher than Iceland in this category.
